Alfredo restaurant review
Hey whiskers!
My mom and I went out for lunch to Alfredo in Petach Tikva industrial park. The setting was quite nice with a large indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside near a still waterfall. The service was decent as the place was mostly empty (understandable as we came for a late lunch around 3pm). We both ordered from the business lunch, I ordered an iced mint lemonade and my mother got tea. I have just listed the dishes we got and shared along with my opinion on them.
Arroncini appetizer
8.5/10 4 balls
The outside she'll was perfectly crisp without being burnt
The rice was well cooked in my opinion even slightly over so I felt it lacked texture inside .the cheesy flavor was great, with delightful cheesy strings as you bit in.
It was on a bed of red sauce with some pesto mixed in,they could have used more sauce and I would have put the sauce on the side.
Beet carpacio appetizer 11/10
The presentation was stunning
The slices of beet were a good thickness not to thin
The beet was covered in a delicious mix of soybeans (I know but they are perfect!) Seeds , feta and a vinnigrette
A great portion for an appetizer and just a perfect balance of flavors and textures .
Whole roasted Dennis 10/10
A perfectly cooked fish,it flaked away from the bone perfectly while still being super moist along the bone. The seasonings on the perfectly crispy skin worked perfectly.
There was a side of dill sauce (not over powering)which added to the fish but you don't have to use it for every bite.there was a lemon slice as well.
Side of rice 7/10
The rice was cooked decently although I found the spices were more for color than taste.the chickpeas were also very crunchy and undercooked so they did not add to the dish.
Sweet potato quiche 7/10
The filling was good albeit the main flavoring was salt-from some cheese but also just a heavy hand of salt. The crust was a bit too thick and not cooked all the way through.
It was served with a side salad which was fine, but didnt have enough dressing .
